Stage set-up

In order to bring the most popular online music platform into the physical world, we created a live Youtube player comprising of a stage set-up with a kinetic, gauze projection screen at the front of the stage and another screen that formed the stage backdrop.

The bands performed on the stage area sandwiched between these two projections, and the visual effect was that of the online player. Additionally we used the front screen to project graphic overlays during the performance and then raised it in order to expose the band behind, and to enhance the ‘live’ aspect of the performance.

Design toolkit

Starting with the creation of a core design language and a brand new key visual, we developed and adapted these elements to produce a one-of-a-kind design toolkit, which included all other graphic elements and media assets.
