Projection mapping and outfits that combine rapid prototyping with various sensors as used in the new Audi A4:
a cutting edge fashion show created together with fashion-tech designer Anouk Wipprecht.
For the Berlin Fashion Week and in collaboration with the fashion-tech designer Anouk Wipprecht,
we created the concept for a rather unusual fashion show, transforming the Audi City Berlin into an interactive catwalk.
Anouk Wipprecht, leading light of the wearable electronics / fashion scene, designed three outfits that incorporated some of the actual sensor technology, as used in the new Audi A4.
A finely choreographed show that included visuals, which we created for the twenty-metre-long LED Powerwalls, were synchronised with the models’ movements on the catwalk.
Projection mapping
At two designated positions on the catwalk, Anouk Wipprecht’s radical designs were enhanced through motion controlled projection mapping, opening up a further visual dimension.
We carefully crafted the soundtrack for the show to match the clean and technical approach in both the outfits and the visuals. It had a cool, electronic and machine-like quality.
