Hager LAB1 Forum

Energy management showroom receives a radical interactive revamp designed with our immersive instruments range.

To celebrate 70 years of Hager and 10 years of the Hager Forum, we were commissioned to radically revamp the energy management giant’s LAB1 showroom using our immersive instruments interactive hardware and software solutions.

The LAB1 showroom is an evolving dynamic environment where all of its applications run on custom media server configurations and our own immersive instruments Software Framework. 

It unifies physical product displays with an interactive, immersive and personalized visitor journey that brings the technical complexity to life in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand. Dynamic LED’s support the overall spatial concept to metaphorically underline the presence and management of energy.

Collaborative Multi-Touch Table

The showroom’s main installation has object recognition capabilities (overall touch terminal resolution = 4 x 4K) where visitors can dive into more than 150 real-world project stories via an Interactive World Map Application. This runs on the table installation and allows visitors to navigate and explore Hager’s global project references.

AR-Scanner Installation

The AR Scanner moves horizontally along the Main Distribution Board, displays real-time X-Ray views of the board, and augments the components with interactive media for visitors to explore. The AR-Scanner’s position tracking is realized through a system of multiple Lidar sensors.
