Virtual spatial installations for the
ZEISS Quatera 700 product film –
a new paradigm in visual storytelling.
New Approach
ZEISS asked us to imagine a new way in which to conceptualize
a medical product film.
Our response was a fresh aesthetic style – marking a distinct departure
from conventional medical visualizations.
Sleek Design
The product's ultra-modern staging draws on a cinematic aesthetic
and an impactful use of light and shadow to place it in a magnetic setting.
Concept
The key features of the Quatera 700 take center focus
in our product film:
They are re-imagined as virtual spatial installations
and exhibited
across three rooms
to elevate the device’s sophisticated technology.
Dramaturgy
While the film mainly focuses on the Quatera 700, subtle narrative framing also contextualizes it within the larger cataract workflow.
Intro: spotlights the device which sits among several abstract glass panels.

Outro: reveals all workflow steps and corresponding devices of the cataract workflow.

Music Production
Our music composition underlines the visual aesthetics by merging electronic elements with orchestral string arrangements to power the narrative.
We also reference musical ideas from previous workflow films to create a coherent sonic identity for ZEISS`s workflow communications.
